Magic is a talent that captures the attention of millions of people around the world. There is something very, well, magical, about someone who can perform tricks that leave in audience in a state of awe. There are tons of magicians out there but some of the most famous are David Copperfield, Mentalist Phoenix, Franz Harary, and last but certainly not least, Criss Angel. 

One of the first magicians on the list is David Copperfield. David Copperfield is basically a household name when it comes to the magic industry. Yet, Copperfield wasn't always a magician.. His talents arose from his hobby of being a ventriloquist. Copperfield is most known for his successful wide scale illusions. Some of his large scale magic tricks consist of causing the State of Liberty to disappear and then reappear right before our eyes and even making a Lear jet disappear. Copperfield is also an escape artists and has managed to escape from a cell in Alcatraz, escaping from a burning raft right before it dropped over Niagara falls and much more. 

Another famous magician is without a doubt Mentalist Phoenix. Phoenix travels the world showing off his magical talents and is most known for his ability to read minds and roving magic. Phoenix has performed his talents on many live television shows including the morning show. While on the morning show he was able to depict the name of the female host friends using his mind reading talents and was also able to get the male host to sketch out a drawing of a woman whom was right behind him but he had never seen while also holding a sign with the name of his grandmother... magical. 

Franz Harary started off performing his magic tricks by convincing the director of the Michigan marching band to allow him to perform his magic tricks during halftime but now performs his tricks on live television and on stages around the world. Vanishing the space shuttle from the Kennedy Space Center was one of his most jaw dropping tricks. In addition to his wide scale illusions, Haray has also worked with many celebrities including Michael Jackson, Alice Cooper, Tina Turner, MC Hammer, Bobby Brown and much more in order to help the design illusions for their tours and music videos. 

Yet one final famous magician is the controversial Criss Angel also known as "Mindfreak". Angel is known for simple tricks such as guessing an audiences chosen card or more large scale tricks such as walking on water. Angels tricks have become so popular that he has earned a Las Vegas show, a hit television show and live performances around the world. In addition to illusions Angel is also known for stunts like laying on a bed of nails while bearing the weight of a car or even escaping from a barrel which hung 7 stories high. 

David Copperfield, Mentalist Phoenix, Franz Harary and Criss Angel have all performed mind blowing tricks that have gained them the reputation and title of being some of the most famous magicians across the world.
